Handling Applied

Manual handling is a practical activity.

At EssentialSkillz, we've found that the best way to teach manual handling is to blend our online theory course with supervised instructor-led sessions. That's why, in collaboration with our network of Training Partners, we offer you Handling Applied.

During this applied course, the lifting and handling techniques that the learner was taught in Handling Essentials are demonstrated by an experienced trainer, and learners are given the opportunity to practice them in a supervised setting.

The proper use of protective clothing and mechanical aids is also demonstrated.

The course lasts three hours.



Handling Applied can be easily customised to the needs of your business. Whether you are a retailer, manufacturer, health care provider or the owner of any business in which employees manually handle loads, we can design and deliver a course to meet your specific requirements.

All students are required to have completed the EssentialSkillz Handling Essentials online course before participating in Handling Applied.

Handling Applied can be conducted on your premises or offsite at one of our approved Training Partner centres.
