Within O-LAS, management can identify gaps such as parts of the business where training hasn't been completed so that 100% take-up can be achieved.

The traditional paper trail is eliminated as O-LAS keeps full training records, automatically maintaining the following information for every employee:

  • Course(s) Enrolled
  • Course completed
  • Course Progress - this includes last completed course module, courses not started, courses started but not finished
  • Emails to Employee - O-LAS chases completion via automated email, keeping note of how many emails it's sending to each individual

Complex organisations can be subdivided by departmental structure, geographical spread or whatever means best suits training plans. With staff grouped together into smaller numbers, there is more control over roll-out and better management reporting for ensuring all areas of the business are compliant.

One Training Database for All E-Learning

In addition to the large range of courses EssentialSkillz offers, O-LAS has been designed to be a central E-Learning portal for all online training an organisation needs to deliver. O-LAS follows the global standard (SCORM 1.2) for hosting third party E-Learning. Any compliant computer based training can be managed centrally from O-LAS, offering all of the roll-out and tracking benefits that the system delivers for EssentialSkillz own courses. There is no need to maintain multiple employee databases, adding new users, removing leavers, all of your E-Learning can be rolled out and tracked from one system.

To supplement training efforts, our Course Development Tool (CDT), enables the production of professional looking online courses. Specific training on any subject needing to be addressed can be quickly produced with this tool in the similarly easy way a powerpoint presentation is written. Once ready the course can be uploaded into O-LAS and rolled out to staff.
