What is Self Assessment? Print E-mail

EssentialSkillz have created a range of generic self risk assessments to accompany their library of online Health & Safety training courses. Users must first complete and pass the associated training course before being granted access to the risk assessment, thus empowering individuals to supply accurate information.

User responses are graded with different levels of risk, enabling Health & Safety managers to identify the numbers and severity of any associated concerns and prioritise intervention accordingly.

Users are empowered to resolve concerns during this process where appropriate. Suggested resolutions "pop up" during the risk assessment, potentially allowing the individual to close off the risk at source.

Where resolution of risk by the end user is not possible or appropriate, the software quickly and easily directs system administrators to the remaining outstanding concerns. The O-LAS system allows them to record, manage and implement the necessary control measures required to solve these outstanding problems.

At EssentialSkillz we recognise that environments and methodologies vary from organisation to organisation and that standard generic risk assessments may not always be appropriate. Any of our questionnaires can be adapted. The customer can add, remove or amend questions at anytime, even post roll out, without the need for costly customisation work.

The EssentialSkillz solution also contains the facility to create entirely new risk assessments from scratch. Please see below for some suggested examples.
