Terrorist threats and attacks appear to be growing in frequency. The EssentialSkillz Security & Counter Terrorism Awareness Online Training Course aims to prepare employees to recognise, report and evacuate appropriately if a security threat should arise.

Our Counter-Terrorism training discusses some of the common reasons why individuals or organisations resort to terrorism. It describes the common behaviours you might be able to spot in people or groups that raise your suspicions. It also describes what to look out for in packages you might receive or that arrive to your workplace. The course emphasises throughout the importance of keeping vigilant. The course explains best practices for dealing with telephone threats or warnings. The course ends by describing how to evacuate a building if there is a security threat.

The Security Awareness section uses a combination of interactivity, quizzes and tests to engage the learner and reinforce key learner points. Like all EssentialSkillz courses, this Security & Counter Terrorism Awareness training can be customised to meet your needs, enabling your workforce to understand the specific policies and procedures you have developed for your organisation. A designated course administrator can edit the text and images within the course, and link to organisation-specific documentation that may be in place, all at no extra cost.
