The IOSH Managing Safely Online Training Course includes two mock exams that are designed to help users prepare for the final exam.
The final assessment is taken in two stages – an exam and a final project. The cost of both the exam and project are already included in the cost of the course.
The exam is 45 minutes in length and consists of multiple choice questions drawn from a Q&A bank. Students will need to achieve at least 36 points from a possible 60 to pass the exam.
Students can have two attempts at the exam. In the event a student fails after the second attempt, they will be required to re-sit the course from the start.
The IOSH Managing Safely Online Training project demonstrates a user’s ability to conduct a risk assessment. The assessment can be conducted using their workplace or a location that the student is familiar with. The project is completed online and must be emailed to IOSH tutors for assessment. The project template consists of three pages:
- Page 1 is for administrative details and information that outlines the location and overall scale of the risk assessment.
- Page 2 requires users to conduct their own risk assessment based on a format explained in the course.
- Page 3 provides users with guidance on how to complete the project.
Students need to achieve at least 23 points from a possible 38 points to pass the project.
On completion of the IOSH Managing Safely Online Training course, successful candidates will receive an email confirmation that outlines their performance.
A unique Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) certificate, complete with a user’s name and completion date will be dispatched within 2-3 weeks of completion via Royal Mail Signed for 1st Class delivery.
The course can take between 16-24 study hours to complete. It can be taken at any time, anywhere and on any device.
