Innovative new tool saves time and cost involved in training… Global Health and Safety E-Learning provider, EssentialSkillz, has launched a new Training Needs Analysis tool that simplifies the process of identifying training requirements and enrolling staff on courses.
Identifying the health and safety training requirements for each employee across any business is a daunting task. Imagine an organisation with 500, 1000 or more employees. What if the organisation is located across a number of sites, each with its own unique training requirements? The task becomes almost unmanageable.
EssentialSkillz has addressed the issue with the development of an innovative new tool as part of their Learning Management System, O-LAS.
Compliance in three simple steps
The tool works by utilizing a simple three step process.
Step 1 – Employees complete a simple online assessment of their training requirements, which takes just a few minutes Step 2 – The information is automatically collated by the LMS to show the number of employees that require each training course. Then, using the unique functionality built into the LMS, the employees are batch enrolled on their E-Learning courses in one click. Step 3 – The employees complete the E-Learning and the records are recorded in the LMS
All questions in the online assessment are editable by each organisation, enabling businesses to bespoke the tool to their own unique requirements. The E-Learning courses are also fully editable allowing for images, text and links to be changed or added.
EssentialSkillz has a range of 28 E-Learning courses all of which are fully compatible with the new tool.
“The cost and time savings possible with this tool are incredible”, commented Julian Roberts, Managing Director at EssentialSkillz. “Trying to identify the health and safety training needs across large organisations is a very challenging task. This tool provides a fast and highly effective way of not only identifying the training needs, but also enrolling the employees on their required courses, direct from the report”, he added.
“When employers see how easy it is to gather the information and then enrol hundreds, or thousands, of people on their required E-Learning courses at the click of a button, the advantages are obvious” Julian concluded.
